The splendid beach at San Gemiliano borders most of the Sos Flores Village Campsite, from which you can admire the Saracen Tower that dominates the bay. Public access to the beach is very far from here, so the beach is not very popular, even in high season, which is no small feat for Sardinia. The coastline is entirely sandy and the water is transparent and crystal clear. Our guests can hire beach umbrellas and sun beds at affordable prices.
Alternatively, Ogliastra offers many beaches interspersed with breathtaking inlets, cliffs and rocky reefs of various colors, all surrounded by beautiful pine forests and the rich Mediterranean maquis.
They can all be easily reached in a few minutes by car from the Sos Flores Village Campsite and are definitely worth a visit.
The Bay of Porto Frailis is east of Tortoli and has a beautiful beach. The surrounding area includes San Gemiliano, with its Spanish Tower, and a couple of peaceful inlets to escape from the crowded seaside in summer.
One of the most famous beaches in Sardinia is Lido di Orrì, considered the most beautiful in Ogliastra, with fine light-colored sand and turquoise water. Ideal for adults and children alike, it is a real island jewel.
Also definitely worth mentioning is Golfetto, the most renowned beach, with white sand and clear water like few other places in the Mediterranean.
Cea beach, the last in the series, is worth mentioning for its beauty and its famous reefs.
